Bishop Steven’s ministry style is unique. He has an unorthodox way of putting the scriptures into a straightforward, hilarious, practical format. He takes the Word of God and gives it to people as golden nuggets for everyday victorious living. Together, Bishop & Lady Valorie share in an awesome marriage mentoring program founded by Lady Valorie, called Imprinting. They believe that marriage and family are the foundation to our culture and the fabric of our existence. In 2008, Bishop presented his first CD entitled “Expectancy” featuring the House of Prayer & Praise Mass Choir, which became an instant radio hit. He and Lady Valorie are co-authors of the book “Today Matters Daily Devotional” along with the Covenant Pastors Fellowship, of which Bishop Steven sits on the Board of Directors. He is a mentor to many, a natural father of six, a grandfather of four, and a husband of one for over 30 years. Bishop Steven is known as a man of Faith like Abraham, Vision like Isaiah, and Integrity like Job.
Proverbs 31:10 states, “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies”. The “Rubies” set in the crown of this woman all glow as reminders that God has truly anointed her to do ministry.
Lady Valorie Bennett pastors along side her husband Bishop Steven Bennett, Sr., as the Administrative Pastor of House of Prayer & Praise Ministries, where she is affectionately known as Lady Val. Together they have birthed a growing assembly of radically faith enthused believers. House of Prayer & Praise has over 33 active ministries and two churches abroad, (1) Tappaluca, Mexico and (2) Ghana South Africa and has birthed many sons and daughters in the gospel and other church plants.

Lady Valorie is the proud mother of six beautiful children (five daughters and one son) and grandmother of four. She has been married to Bishop Bennett for over 30 years.
Lady Valorie Bennett’s style of ministry has been noted as “straight forward, and life changing.” She has a burden to see people set free from sin, sickness, and the enemies’ stronghold, therefore operating in a powerful prophetic & deliverance ministry. Certainly, we have found a Virtuous Woman of God in Lady Valorie Bennett.
